Scott Simmons

Scott Simmons earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Louisiana State University and his juris doctor from Loyola University in New Orleans School of Law. Scott is admitted to the Louisiana State Bar Association and the bars of the United States District Court for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Louisiana.

He has practiced in the areas of commercial litigation, commercial and residential real estate, title examination and title insurance, real estate development and financing, Low-Income Housing Tax Credits, Historic Tax Credits, New Market Tax Credits, class actions, personal injury and consumer representation for dangerous drugs and products. Scott is also a Louisiana Notary Public and a Licensed Louisiana Insurance Producer. He is president of Regional Community Finance, serves on the LSU College of Humanities & Social Sciences Dean’s Advisory Council, serves as a U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Foreclosure Commissioner, and is a member of World Wildlife Fund and Friends of New Orleans Public Library.
